Hey Friends!
Welcome back to the podcast. We have officially made it to season 3 and 1 year of podcasting! So much has happened since the last time we chatted and I am so thankful for all the fun updates that I have for you so let's just dive in!
First and foremost last time we chatted I let you know that I was in the middle of a rebrand with an amazing brand house called Awake and Seek- they have taken all of my scattered dreams and brought a clear vision to my goals. With that being said I am so excited to tell you that I am officially stepping into the role as your Nonprofit Coach.
So what does that mean? I’m glad you asked! For those of you who know my journey I actually helped cofound a nonprofit back when I was 16 years old and have run this organization as president for the last 9 years. I am bringing all of that experience to the table to help women wanting to leave a legacy of restoration to their communities through nonprofits. My coaching consists of all of the things you can’t google about creating a nonprofit- we are talking about the heart and the soul of the organization and man am I pumped to do this work with you.
I am bring you all of the things that I wish I had known back when I was 16, we will be talking about legacy plans, finding volunteers, creating codes of conducts, running a board meeting, dealing with conflict and so much more that goes into running an organization that people just don’t talk a lot about.
I am so excited for this new direction in my coaching journey and truly believe that it is exactly what I am supposed to be doing. I know that it can be hard to shift to new directions when you are a founder/business owner and I hope that this shift in my business gives you the permission that you have been searching for to take the jump and pivot. As we grow and learn new things sometimes our dreams and visions shift- it’s NORMAL. Changing directions, exploring new avenues, making new choices does not make you wishy-washy, it makes you human. Staying in a lane/niche/season that is no longer serving you just to be “consistent” isn’t humble or good friends, it is just a lie keeping you trapped from your next chapter.
The world needs what you have and I am so ready to serve those of you ready to take the leap into the nonprofit world. I know there are so many of you who have had a dream/idea living in your heart for years that you keep asking yourself if you can do it. Let me be the first to tell you if no one else has that you can. You were given this dream and vision and heart for this mission for a reason! Don’t waste it, don’t wait another minute to bring this dream to life.
